Checking the realm…
The old school, painted new
Everdrawn is an online role-playing game for people who miss the long nights of the classic MMOs: a world that does not fit on one screen, a party you cannot win without, and gear you earned yourself. Every tree, wall and creature is drawn in pixels by the game's own code, then lit like a diorama.
One seamless continent
Seventeen regions joined by roads, rivers and passes, with no loading walls between them.
Parties that matter
Tanks hold, healers keep them standing, buffers drum the band into fury. Raid bosses do not fall to one hero.
Gear you can see
Rags at level 1, epic armour at 80. Every grade changes how your character looks, piece by piece.
Clans with a banner
Found one, raise it, design its crest and carry it above your name into wars and alliances.
Walk out of Varenhold and keep walking
Velmara is twelve kilometres of streamed land: the golden heartland around the capital, moonlit elven groves, the frozen holds of the north, a desert of dragon bones and the burning badlands of the south. Towns, ruins, camps and caves sit off the roads, waiting to be found.

Five peoples, one crown
Every character begins as a fighter or a mystic of one of five races and grows through three professions into one of the classes of Velmara.
The characters are the game's own sprites. Select one to see it fight.
From rags to legend
A new knight leaves the capital in a tunic and a borrowed sword. Each grade of armour, from D at level 20 to S at 76, changes the helm, the mail, the cloak and the steel, until the whole realm can see how far you have come.
What waits on the road
Combat with weight
The server decides every blow, so a hit lands when it lands for everyone. Blades connect on the frame, spells travel, crowd control has a chance to resist, and your skill bar fills as your profession grows. Change into your beast form and run, until a single blow throws you out of it.
Raids, dungeons and epic bosses
Raid bosses guard every region. Dungeons hold three bosses each behind their gates. And in their lairs wait the epic bosses, which take a muster of parties to bring down.
Clans, wars and the counter wheel
Daggers hunt nukers, nukers break bruisers, bruisers crush daggers: every class has a counter, and every class can win. Duel a friend, fight on contested ground, or take your clan to war. Kill the innocent and karma marks you: hunting burns it away, and a magistrate's penance clears your record.
Forge your own steel
Recipes are things you find, not menus you open. Dwarven smiths forge every graded weapon and armour piece from what the hunters bring back; everyone else brews draughts and scribes scrolls. Enchant what you make, and soulbind a weapon to wake its hidden power.
Screens from Velmara
Captured in the game, at its own resolution, without touch-ups.
Where you can play
Today
Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit
macOS on Apple silicon and Intel
Through the Everdrawn launcher, which installs the game and keeps it up to date by itself.
The launcher is not code-signed yet. In the SmartScreen box choose More info, then Run anyway. It asks once; the game it installs starts without a prompt.
Drag the launcher to Applications, then right-click it and choose Open. On macOS 15 and later go to System Settings, Privacy & Security, and choose Open Anyway. You do this once.

Questions
What do I need to play?
A Windows 10 or 11 PC (64-bit) or a Mac, an internet connection, and the launcher from this page. The game is online only: you play on the realm with everyone else.
How do updates work?
The launcher checks for a new game client every few minutes and installs it by itself, only the files that changed. If the realm needs a newer client while you are playing, the game hands over to the launcher, which updates and starts it again.
Is Everdrawn coming to Steam?
Yes. Steam is where Everdrawn is headed, and the Steam release brings Linux, Steam Deck and full controller support with it.
Can I play with a controller or on Steam Deck now?
Not yet: today the game is played with mouse and keyboard on Windows and macOS. Full controller support and Steam Deck arrive with the Steam release.
Where do I make an account?
Here, on the account page, or in the game: log in with a new name and password and the account is made for you. The account page also shows your characters and lets you change your password and e-mail.
Is it finished?
No. Everdrawn is in active development and changes every week: new regions, quests, bosses and systems. The Chronicle and the launcher's news say what arrived.
